West Valley City, Utah - The Las Vegas Wranglers broke up a 3-2 third period game to beat the Utah Grizzlies 5-2 Wednesday evening at Maverik Center as Las Vegas won their eighth-straight game.

With a 1-0 first intermission lead, Las Vegas made it 2-0 1:53 into the second period on a shot from the blue line. T.J. Battani and Adam Huxley then fought for the second time in the contest. Utah made it 2-1 just 1:23 later as Bryan Cameron picked up a turnover on the Utah blue line and ultimately dropped it to Nick Tuzzolino on an odd-man rush for his second goal of the year.

2:39 after Las Vegas made it 3-1, Utah's Kory Falite (10) knocked in a puck on a behind the net pass from Adam Estoclet to make it 3-2 12:48 into the second period.

Las Vegas made it 4-2 6:49 into the third period and added an empty-netter with 49 seconds left in the contest.

Prior to the game, the Boston Bruins assigned rookie goaltender Adam Morrison to Utah. He backed up Shane Owen in the contest just hours after arriving in Utah.

Utah is home this weekend for Military Night Friday and Pink in the Rink Saturday for breast cancer awareness. Friday, active military in uniform and veterans can get 50-percent off tickets.
