Veeck Conference Sells Out

Mike Veeck's annual Fun Is Good Conference that takes place November 5-6 at The Marriott Charleston has sold out.

The conference is catered to business professionals who are interested in improving employee retention and maximizing employee's potential through innovation and creativity in the work place. At the conference, Veeck - as only he can do - merges his successes in baseball to the business world.

Last year's one-day seminar drew nearly 100 individuals while the 2007 edition has expanded to two days and will have close to 300 participants.

In addition to Veeck, president and co-owner of the Charleston RiverDogs baseball club, additional speakers include Gary Kunath, president of the Summit Group, Al Fahden, a former stand-up comic who has spent more than two decades working with Fortune 500 companies to increase their sales efficiency and morale, and Dan Migala, founder and publisher of The Migala Report, who is considered a leading expert on sports marketing, will be aboard.

Additionally, Shannon McDevitt, founder of Just Humor Me! and the humor expert for ABC's Lowcountry Live show will participate as will Shawn Hunter, President of AEG Sports.
