USHL Conference Semifinals Dates Announced

The United States Hockey League announced today the dates for the 2018 USHL Conference Semifinals. The Chicago Steel, Dubuque Fighting Saints, Fargo Force, Lincoln Stars, Omaha Lancers, Team USA, Waterloo Black Hawks and Youngstown Phantoms will be competing for the 2018 Clark Cup championship.
Dubuque qualified for the Clark Cup playoffs for the eighth consecutive season, which is five years longer than the next closest active playoff streak (Waterloo - 3). The Fighting Saints knocked off the Green Bay Gamblers in the First Round. Waterloo looks to become the first team to win both the Anderson Cup and Clark Cup in the same season since the Dubuque Fighting Saints accomplished the feat in 2013. Chicago, who knocked off the Muskegon Lumberjacks in three games in their First Round series, looks to become the first team to repeat as Clark Cup Champions since the Omaha Lancers accomplished the feat in 1993 and 1994. Fargo and Lincoln also won First Round series, defeating Tri-City and Sioux Falls, respectively.
The Conference Semifinals will be best-of-five series. The top two seeds in both the Eastern and Western Conference received a first-round bye and will begin their playoff seasons in the Conference Semifinals. All Conference Semifinals games will be broadcasted on ushl.hockeytv.com.
