Tullio and Robinson Named to Hockey Canada at the World U17 Hockey Challenge

Oshawa, ON - Hockey Canada announced today that Oshawa Generals forwards Ty Tullio and Dylan Robinson have been named to Hockey Canada's roster for the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.

Tullio spent last season with the Vaughan Kings of the GTHL and scored 38 goals and 51 assists in 50 games. Tullio was drafted by the Generals in the first round, 11th overall in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. Tullio participated in the OHL Cup in the spring, where he notched five goals and five assists in seven games with the Vaughan Kings, leading the team to the Championship final. This past May, Tullio won gold for team GTHL Blue at the 2018 OHL Gold Cup in Kitchener. Leading up to this tournament, Tullio attended to Under-17 Development Camp in Calgary during the summer off season. In his first Ontario Hockey League season, Tullio has registered four assists to start to year.

Robinson spent last season with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens of the GTHL and scored 29 goals and 55 assists in 55 games. Robinson was drafted by the Generals in the second round, 28th overall in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection draft. He was named the OHL Cup MVP during the 2018 tournament. Like Tullio, Robinson won gold for team GTHL Blue at 2018 OHL Gold Cup in May. Robinson also attended Canada's National Under-17 Development Camp in Calgary leading Team Black in scoring. He collected two goals and two assists and finished tied for second with four points in development camp scoring.

The 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge will take place from November 3rd-10th in Saint John and Quispamsis, New Brunswick.
