Riley Tufte became the highest draft pick in the history of the Fargo Force when the Dallas Stars selected him 25th overall in the first round of the National Hockey League Draft on Friday, June 24. He had 31 assists on the season to bring him to a combined 78 points in 25 games on the season.

Tufte will begin his college hockey career this fall playing for the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He will join other Force alumni Dominic Toninato, Alex Iafallo and Jarod Hilderman on the Bulldogs' roster.

Also selected in the NHL Draft was former Force forward Mikey Eyssimont. Eyssimont was selected 142nd overall by the LA Kings. He currently is playing for St. Cloud State University.
