Aggressive base running in the bottom of third frame led to three runs and a two-run lead for the Red Wings as two runs scored on a wild pitch and error on catcher Steven Lerud. However, just as the rain began to fall Leandro Castro hit a towering three-run home run to left field off Wings starter Andrew Albers that pushed the IronPigs back in front 6-5.
