Travis Buck's three hits and four RBIs helped the Tucson Padres to a 5-3 win over the Fresno Grizzlies Saturday at Kino Stadium.

The Padres struck first in the opening inning when Buck sent a double to the centerfield wall allowing Jaff Decker and Daniel Robertson to score. Francisco Peguero got one run back for the Grizzlies in the third with an RBI groundout. Tucson pitcher Robbie Erlin helped his own cause in the fourth, hitting an RBI double to left. Erlin later scored in the inning on Buck's single.

Gary Brown's solo home run into the left field bullpen brought Fresno within two runs in the fifth inning. Buck produced his third RBI of the night on a single in the sixth to put Tucson up 5-2. Fresno scored once in the ninth on Chris Dominguez's home run, but Miles Mikolas closed out the win for his first save of the year.

Erlin earned the victory, going five innings while scattering seven hits and striking out six. The Padres four pitchers combined for ten strikeouts in the game.
