Peterborough Petes News Release

Peterborough, ON- Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that defenceman Troy Henley and forward Eddie Schulz have been reassigned to the Caledonia Corvairs of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL).

Henley, a native of Paulsboro, New Jersey, has played in nine games for the Petes this season. In four seasons between the Petes, Ottawa 67's, and Saginaw Spirit, Henley has scored a combined two goals and nine assists for 11 points in 126 games played.

Schulz, who hails from Erin, Ontario, was selected by the Petes in the 5th round, 89th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. In 77 OHL games, the centre has scored two goals and two assists for four points.

"Both Troy and Eddie are valued members of the Petes organization, and this move will allow them each to see regular game action in Caledonia," explained Oke. "A key part of this arrangement with the Corvairs organization is that they will both be available for recall to the Petes at any time."

The Petes play on Thursday, January 12 at 7:05pm against the rival Oshawa Generals, with a win in that game moving them into a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference. Tickets are available here for the game, and don't forget to download the free Peterborough Petes Mobile App powered by Kawartha TV & Stereo, available for iPhone or Android devices.
