Prior to this season, the fewest games between the clubs in a regular season was five, during 2009-10. From 2010-13, Tri-City and Sioux Falls played eight times a season. Since the start of 2013-14, the Storm is 11-6-2-1 against the Herd.

Did you know? The Storm's shootout loss to Sioux Falls on September 24 was Tri-City's first skills competition loss to the Herd. Tri-City is 10-1 against Sioux Falls in shootouts in the Tier-I history of the league.

Scouting Sioux Falls The Storm and Stampede have each had "bye weekends" this season and Sioux Falls ended a 12-day break with a 3-1 loss at Fargo on Wednesday.

Ranked last in the conference with 11 points, Sioux Falls is allowing 4.1 goals a game, second to last in the league.

In the first matchup between the clubs, goaltender Jeremy Swayman earned the shootout win with 48 saves on 50 shots. The Herd have allowed 50 or more shots in two games and Sioux Falls gives up a league-worst 39.2 per contest.

Swayman (2-5-0-1, 3.86 GAA, .897 sv.%) pairs with Mikhail Berdin (3-5-0-0, 3.64 GAA, .908 sv%) in net.

Austin Albrecht leads the club with 13 assists and 18 points. Jack Doremus and Jason O'Neill are tied for the club lead with seven goals.

On Deck Saturday, November 26, the Storm matches Des Moines for the first time, with the game on The Breeze 94.5 FM.
