Trail Blazers to Play Preseason Game in Idaho
BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Stampede are proud to announce that the Portland Trail Blazers will be playing one of their home, 2013-14 NBA pre-season games at CenturyLink Arena downtown Boise when they host the Utah Jazz on Friday, October 11, 2013. This will be the first year in which the Portland Trail Blazers will play a preseason contest at the home of their Hybrid operated NBA Development League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede. Tickets start at $15 and go on sale Thursday, August 1 at 10am.
"It's not very often that Idaho gets treated with an NBA preseason game, especially between two local favorite NBA teams, the Utah Jazz and the Portland Trail Blazers. We expect a sell-out crowd with a thrilling atmosphere at CenturyLink Arena. And we can't wait to share such an exciting night with Stampede fans and local NBA fans," said Idaho Stampede President & General Manager, Steve Brandes.
Fans can expect to see NBA rookie of the year & Portland Trail Blazer, Damian Lillard battling it out with Utah Jazz & former NCAA Player of the Year, Trey Burke along with each respective team's 2013-14 roster first hand downtown Boise. Portland is planning on traveling with a slew of entertainment that will give fans an NBA game experience.
