Torrington Titans Make the Most of 7 Hits in 4-1

The Torrington Titans (13-19) and the Pittsfield Suns (12-19) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Torrington Titans that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-1 win at Wahconah Park.

Mike Kochiss had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings.

Nick Mondak pitched lights out for the Torrington Titans. The Pittsfield Suns managed just one hit off of the the Torrington Titans' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Kevin Donati was hot from the plate for the Pittsfield Suns. Donati went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Jamin McCann (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
