TUCSON, AZ - On Tuesday, Aug. 11th the Toros will commence play in a three game series as they host the South Division's first half winner, the St. George Roadrunners.

Two For Tuesday specials will be in effect for the opening game of the series as fans will be able to enjoy buy-one get-one free tickets (general admission and upper reserved), hot dogs, soft drinks, margaritas and ice cold beer.

Wednesday's game will feature We Care Wednesday as community groups have the opportunity to fundraise with the Toros.

On Thursday, the two teams will close out the series where the Toros will host a night full of action at the ballpark as there will be pregame, in game and post game festivities for all in attendance.

Prior to the game Toro fans will get to take part in "Speed Dating" at Hi Corbett. Let the Toros play matchmaker and help you find that special someone! Sign up for the first ever Tucson Toros Speed Dating Event happening before the game. Guests can preregister at www.Tucsonfun.com and click on the Speed Dating tab. Upon registering speed daters will get a ticket to the game, a free drink, and the priceless opportunity to find love - all for just $15. There are a limited number of spots available so be sure to register early! "Meet Mr. or Mrs. Right at Hi Corbett Field."

As the final game of the series takes place on Thursday, the always popular Thirsty Thursday specials will be in effect. In the final Thirsty Thursday of the 2009 season, beer, iced tea, horchata, lemonade and soft drinks will all be $1.00, starting with the first pitch, for two hours.

To wrap up the busy night, there will be a free post game concert by Mikel Knight and the Outlaw Band.

Gates open at 6:00 pm each night with game action set to start at 7:00 pm.
