ON THE SCORESHEET

- Antoine Bibeau turned aside all 35 shots he faced to record his third shutout of the year. The shutout moves him into a tie for third on the Toronto Marlies All-Time shutout leaders list with his seventh in a Marlies uniform.

- Eric Faille opened the scoring for the Marlies, on the powerplay, 8:42 into the second period. The goal was Faille's fifth of the season, skating in his 14th game of the year.

- Richard Clune scored his eighth goal of the season and added an assist to increase his point total to 24, a new career high.

- Andrew Nielsen recorded his first professional point, assisting on the Clune goal.

- Brendan Leipsic recorded his 56th point of the season, assisting on the opening Marlies tally.

- Zach Hyman added an empty net tally, his 15th goal of the season.

NOTABLES

- Toronto sets a new franchise record for points in a season with 110, previous high was 109 (2007-08).

- With the victory the Marlies increase their point streak to eight games. The Marlies last failed to record a point on March 19th against the Providence Bruins.

- This is the final meeting between Toronto and Albany this season. The Marlies finish the season series with a 4-2-0-0 record against the Devils, outscoring them 17-10.
