Oklahoma City Baseball Club News Release

Oklahoma City - Tim Locastro hit a RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the 11th inning to tie the game before Andrew Toles drilled a two-run homer out to left field to send the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a 6-4 walk-off win against the Iowa Cubs Friday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Iowa took a 4-3 lead in the top of the 11th inning, scoring the go-ahead run on a wild pitch before the Dodgers answered with three runs in the bottom of the frame for their sixth walk-off win of the season.

Toles paced the Dodgers with four RBI, three hits and scored two runs as the Dodgers (64-57) took a 1-0 lead in the opener of a four-game series between the teams.

Friday's win also snapped a three-game losing skid for the Dodgers in a wild game that featured four hit by pitches and four ejections, as well as the benches and bullpens clearing in the sixth inning after Connor Joe was hit in the helmet by a pitch.

Iowa (45-77) grabbed the game's first lead in the third inning with two outs in front of a sellout crowd of 10,216 during Hometown Heroes Military Celebration Night.

Terrance Gore lined a single into left field and stole second base before Chris Coghlan followed with a RBI double into center field to bring home Gore for a 1-0 Iowa lead.

The Dodgers took the lead in the fifth inning. With one out, Jake Peter singled and advanced to second base on a sacrifice bunt by pitcher Brock Stewart. Locastro was hit by pitch before Toles hit a two-run triple down the right field line for a 2-1 Dodgers lead. Donovan Solano followed with a RBI single for a 3-1 Dodgers lead.

The Cubs cut the Dodgers' lead to one run in the top of the sixth inning on a RBI double by Taylor Davis.

Iowa tied the game, 3-3, in the top of the eighth inning. Mike Freeman hit a single into left field and Ryan Court followed with a RBI double to bring home the game-tying run as the teams extended into extra innings for the third time in their season series.

Stewart pitched 6.0 innings for the Dodgers, holding Iowa to two runs on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Josh Fields, on a rehab assignment, followed Stewart and pitched the seventh inning. He retired all three batters he faced, throwing 11 pitches, including 10 strikes.

Oklahoma City reliever Stetson Allie (2-0) pitched the top of the 11th inning and was credited with the win for OKC.

Iowa reliever Casey Coleman (2-4) was charged with a blown save and the loss, allowing the winning runs in the 11th inning.
