Tobs to Host Fall High School Baseball

Wilson, NC - The Wilson Tobs are excited to announce the inaugural season of fall high school baseball at Fleming Stadium in Wilson. The league is open to all rising freshmen through rising seniors. Open workouts begin Tuesday August 9 at 5:00 pm at Fleming Stadium for individuals who are interested in playing, and games will begin in early September.
The Tobs fall league is now accepting team and individual entries. Teams will enter as a league member and will be responsible for uniforms, coaches, and team equipment. Individual participants will be placed on a team administered by the Wilson Tobs. Individuals will be required to provide their own equipment but will be provided uniforms by the Tobs. All individuals will be required to attend a workout session, with the first workout session scheduled for *Tuesday August 9 at Fleming Stadium at 5 pm*.
Entry fees are $1,300 for a team and $165 for individuals. Minimum roster size is 13 players and a team can have no more than 15 members. Team rosters can't be comprised of players from more than four high schools. Games will begin the first of September and the season will conclude in late October. Each team will play eighteen games, primarily to be played on two weeknights and on Saturday mornings. The Tobs office must receive all team rosters by September 1. The games will be seven inning contests with a two hour time limit.
Benefits of participating in the fall league include the use of a collegiate playing facility, player and coaches secondary insurance, and Tobs organization leadership and administration. The league will comply with NCHSAA and NCISAA rules.
