LAST NIGHT: The TinCaps fell to Bowling Green, 6-2, on Saturday night. The Hot Rods grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first, but Fort Wayne countered in the second on a two-run triple from Tyler Moore. Bowling Green, however, scored the final four runs to win the third game of the series.
3 MILLION FANS: With a sell-out crowd of 7,934 on hand Saturday, the TinCaps eclipsed 3,000,000 in all-time ballpark attendance since Parkview Field opened for the 2009 season.
PACKED PARKVIEW FIELD: Saturday's ninth sell-out crowd of the season bumped Fort Wayne's average attendance so far this year to 5,679 - the second-highest among the 60 Single-A clubs and larger than 28 of 30 Double-A franchises and 13 of 30 Triple-A organizations. Even with 2 rainouts, this is the highest-ever attendance for the TinCaps through 34 games.
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY: Happy Father's Day to all the dads reading this, as well as TinCaps manager Anthony Contreras (father of Cole and Addison), pitching coach Burt Hooton (father of Gene and Layne) and defensive coach Raul Padrón (father of Victoria and Aaron).

ALL-STARS: The TinCaps will be represented in the MWL All-Star game on Tuesday night by center fielder Michael Gettys (starter), catcher Austin Allen, starting pitcher J.C. Cosme, and starting pitcher Jacob Nix. That quartet will represent the Eastern Division at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. SECOND HALF: Following the three-day All-Star Break, the TinCaps kick off the Midwest League's second half Thursday with a four-game series against the Hot Rods in Bowling Green. The TinCaps then return home to Parkview Field on June 27th (Monday) to open a four-game set with Dayton.
