Minneapolis/St. Paul - The Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx today announced a new long-term partnership with TCL®, beginning with the 2016-17 Timberwolves season.

"We're very excited to welcome TCL to the Timberwolves and Lynx pack," said Timberwolves & Lynx Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Tanke. "It's an exciting time for both of our franchises and great partners like TCL will play a big role as the buzz around our teams continues to grow. TCL is a rapidly growing company looking to bring its global success here to the U.S. and we look forward to bringing their brand to life in this market. It's also a very natural fit with both of our organizations' ties to China."

TCL will be the "Official TV of the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx," which includes signage, in-arena activations, a "TCL Performance of the Game" feature on social media after every home game and community relations events. TCL is America's fastest growing TV brand and the third largest TV manufacturer in the world.

"TCL is deeply committed to sports and entertainment so we're thrilled to become the ‘Official TV' of the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx and to showcase our premium TVs to their loyal fan bases," said Chris Larson, vice president of sales and marketing for TCL. "We know this partnership will help our global brand as we continue our rapid growth in the U.S., particularly with our award-winning TCL 4K Roku TV, bringing a stunning picture and easy access to more basketball games than you can get with other smart TVs."
