Timber Rattlers Announce 2013 TV Broadcast Schedule

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have teamed up with a pair of television outlets to broadcast a record number of games during the 2013 season. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel has seventeen games scheduled and WACY-TV My NEW32 plans to show fifteen games for a total of 32 Timber Rattlers home games that will be available on television this year.

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel continues as a television partner of the defending Midwest League Champions. The channel - formerly known as Sports32 - is set to show seventeen games during the regular season. These games will be available state-wide to Time Warner Cable subscribers. Time Warner Cable has broadcast Timber Rattlers games since 2007.

The first game on their schedule is the 2013 home opener at newly renovated Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium when the Rattlers host the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Monday, April 8. Timber Rattlers Field Pass, a half hour show that goes inside the Rattlers clubhouse for player interviews, coaching tips and behind the scene features, also returns for another season on the channel. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will handle the broadcasts of any Timber Rattlers home playoff games in 2013.

My NEW32 is the new television partner of the Rattlers. They are scheduled to show fifteen games this season as part of their Sports Showdown broadcasts. All Timber Rattlers broadcasts on My NEW32 will include a thirty minute pregame show. My NEW32 is available as an over the air channel to Northeast Wisconsin and on channel 13 to Time Warner Cable subscribers. The debut of the Timber Rattlers on My NEW32 is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 against the Kernels.

We look forward to our new relationship with My NEW32 and hope these two partnerships will allow the Timber Rattlers fans that cannot attend each game, the opportunity to catch the Brewers prospects from the comfort of their own homes."

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel has aired professional, college, and high school sporting events along with a variety of talk shows and programs about Wisconsin sports since it wen t on the air in January of 2007.

WACY broadcasts a variety of college and high school sports including football, basketball, and hockey as part of their Sports Showdown. MyNEW32 is also the Northeastern Wisconsin home of the Boys' and Girls' State Basketball Tournament broadcasts. They also show popular syndicated programs such as The Simpsons, The Big Bang Theory, and Two and a Half Men.
