AEG President and CEO Tim Leiweke addressed David Beckham's status on Friday when he spoke with Grahame Jones of the Los Angeles Times.
GALAXY TO OPEN '09 SOCCER SEASON VS. OITA TRINITA
Your LA Galaxy will open their '09 soccer season on Wednesday, February 18 when they take on Oita Trinita in the Pan-Pacific Championship at 8pm (PT) at The Home Depot Center.
USA VS. MEXICO VIEWING PARTY THIS WEDNESDAY
All Galaxy fans are invited to a free viewing party to watch the USA take on Mexico in a World Cup Qualifier on Wednesday, February 11 at 4pm at the L.A. Live ESPN Zone. The event will include raffles, 25% off appetizer specials and a private screening room.
YOUTH ACADEMY OPEN TRYOUTS
-The LA Galaxy Youth Academy will be holding Open Tryouts for males born between 1990 and 1995 on February 21 at Irvine Valley College. The cost to register is $35.
-The Galaxy will host their 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 10 at The Home Depot Center. Registration is free to Galaxy fans ages 1-10.
-Galaxy acquire Todd Dunivant from Toronto.
-Galaxy multi-game ticket packs are on sale now for as low as $42.
