Tiger-Cats sign D.J. Flick
February 20, 2004 - Canadian Football League (CFL)
Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
Speedy, free-agent wide receiver D.J. (David) FLICK is a HAMILTON TIGER-CAT!
The 59 Pennsylvania native played the last two seasons with the Ottawa Renegades where he caught 60 passes, 7 of those for touchdowns, for a total of 917 yards. Flick originally joined Ottawa as a free agent October 4, 2002 and played in three games that season. He ended the 2002 season with 4 catches for 83 yards.
Hamilton Head Coach Greg Marshall is excited about the potential that Flick will bring to the Tiger-Cats. From everything Ive heard and from the film weve been looking at, D.J. is a hard worker. Hes fast, a true deep threat and a real tough player! Even though hes just a young kid, hes got a great on-field work ethic. We look at D.J. as being a big part of our offence this year and well into the future.
