Sporting Kansas City News Release
Tickets for the international friendly between the United States Men's National Team and Bolivia on May 28 at Children's Mercy Park are now on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster.com . The match will kick off at 7 p.m. CT with national television coverage on FS1, UniMas and UDN.
The United States will visit Children's Mercy Park for its final tune-up before hosting the Copa America Centenario, a prestigious international tournament headlined by the U.S., Mexico, Argentina and Brazil that includes 16 nations from North, Central and South America.
Sporting Kansas City captain Matt Besler and winger Graham Zusi have both played for the U.S. Men's National Team this year and are in contention to feature at the Copa America Centenario, which will be played in 10 cities across the U.S. from June 3-26. The competition is a celebration of the 100th anniversary of CONMEBOL and the Copa America, and will be the first edition of the tournament played outside of South America.
Children's Mercy Park has hosted the U.S. Men's National Team on four previous occasions, including two CONCACAF Gold Cup appearances (2011, 2015) and two FIFA World Cup qualifiers (2012, 2013). Since opening in 2011, the state-of-the-art venue has also hosted several high-profile club and international matches, namely the 2013 MLS All-Star Game, 2013 MLS Cup, 2015 NCAA Men's College Cup and several Olympic qualifiers.
