Wichita is 4-2-3-0 vs. Missouri

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the 10th meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mavericks. All-time, Wichita is 41-36-6 against Missouri and 17-18-6 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita continues its five-game road trip tonight with an early week contest at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in the Visit Wichita, Visit Independence Cup Series. The Thunder have lost the last three games in the season-series, which have all been on the road. Wichita is 4-2-3-0 against Missouri heading into tonight's game. The Mavericks are coming off a 7-2 win against Tulsa on Sunday while the Thunder haven't played since March 8th. Matt Finn leads the Mavericks with nine points (4g, 5a) while Dane Fox has eight points (2g, 6a) in nine games against the Thunder. Zach O'Brien leads the Thunder with 10 points (3g, 7a) in five games against the Mavericks.

WEEKEND OFF - Wichita plays for the first time since last Wednesday morning in Greenville. The Thunder play three times this week before returning home on March 22nd.

PLAYOFF PUSH - Missouri is still battling for a playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Mavericks are currently in 10th place with 63 points, three back of Kalamazoo for the final playoff spot. Missouri has two games in hand on Utah and Kalamazoo. Wichita can play spoiler down the stretch with four more meetings against Missouri after tonight.

POWER - After going eight games without a goal on the man advantage, Wichita has scored a power play goal in three-straight. The Thunder are 3-for-11 over that span, operating at a 27.3% clip.

WELCOME BACK - Jamie Doornbosch returned to the Thunder line-up last Tuesday night and made an immediate impact. He finished the week with four points (1g, 3a) in two games, including a three-point outing on Tuesday.

MULTI-POINT - Blake Tatchell recorded two points last Wednesday in Greenville and has four multi-point outings in his last 12 games. The rookie from North Battleford, Saskatchewan has 13 points (5g, 8a) over that span.

MILESTONES - Ian Lowe continues to move up the all-time leader board in franchise history. He appeared in his 312th game this past Wednesday in Greenville to move past Sean O'Reilly for third place all-time in games played.

ROAD LESS TRAVELED - Wichita continues its five-game road trip this week with a visit to Missouri and Allen. This is the second five-game road trip over the last three weeks.

THUNDERBOLTS... Vincent Arseneau is tied for second with five shorthanded points and tied for first with four shorthanded goals...Wichita is fifth in the league in shorthanded goals (11)...Wichita is fifth in the league in penalty minutes per game (18.04)...Wichita is 12-2-2-1 when leading after two...Wichita is 6-10-1-0 when tied after one...Wichita is 8-10-2-0 when outshooting its opponent...

MISSOURI NOTES - Dane Fox has fired 300 shots on net this season, good for first in the ECHL...Missouri is sixth in the league in third period goals with 78...Missouri plays nine of the last 12 games on the road to close the season...Dan Correale has nine points in his last seven games...Conner Bleackley became the third Mavericks rookie to earn three assists in a game this past Sunday...Missouri is 18-8-3 when scoring first...

AROUND THE ECHL - There are one other game tonight in the ECHL. Florida takes on Atlanta.
