Thunder Continues Road Trip Tonight in Kalamazoo

Kalamazoo, MI - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, continues their eight-game road trip tonight with a visit to the Wings Event Center to take on Kalamazoo.
Wichita and Kalamazoo play tonight for the final time this season. The Thunder are 2-2-1-0 against the Wings this season. Wichita is coming off a loss at Kansas City this past Tuesday by the final of 3-1. The Wings won last night in overtime at Fort Wayne by the final of 3-2.
The Thunder are four points ahead of both Allen and Tulsa for third place in the Mountain Division. The Oilers knocked off the Americans last night, 3-2, and pulled into a fourth-place tie. Kalamazoo is tied for fourth place in the Central Division with Kansas City with 68 points and has played one less game than the Mavericks.
Eric Kattelus leads the Wings with six assists against the Thunder. Tyler Biggs has five points (1g, 4a) against Wichita. Ralph Cuddemi has six points (4g, 2a) to lead the Thunder against the Wings.
Including tonight, Wichita will play in three different cities this week, closing the five-day trek in Fort Wayne on Saturday. The Thunder are 13-14-3-1 on the road and 2-2-1-0 on their current road swing.
