Three Infielders Will Look to Impress this Summer for the Navs

Lynn, MA - Infielders Jake Dexter, Alex Brickman, and Joey Pena have been added to the Navigators 2016 roster.

Dexter is a 6' 1" 195-pound freshman who will play second base for the University of Southern Maine this spring while also seeing time on the mound. From Oakland, ME, he'll play alongside his highly-touted senior brother Sam. Dexter will be a two-way player for the Navs this summer, using his versatility to play a number of positions and also pitch.

Pena will play both shortstop and second base for St. Thomas Aquinas this spring. The preseason All Region pick hit .364 as a freshman, playing alongside former Navigator Brandon Fischer. The 5' 9" 165-pound sophomore will bring his top-of-the-lineup speed and skills to the table this summer for the Lynn, MA-based Navigators. He is a native of Brooklyn, NY.

Brickman is a powerful 6' 3" 240-pounder who is a 5th year student at Worcester Academy. The potential 2016 June draftee is committed to Division 1 Siena. He hit .365 with 6 HR's as a junior after hitting .421 as a sophomore. Brickman comes to the Navs thanks to a recommendation of former Toronto Blue Jays GM and current Mets special assistant J.P. Riccardi.
