Thorns FC Re-Sign Seven Players Ahead of 2018 NWSL Season

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC have re-signed midfielder Celeste Boureille, goalkeepers Britt Eckerstrom and Adrianna Franch, forwards Meg Morris and Hayley Raso, defender Katherine Reynolds and forward Mallory Weber, it was announced today as Thorns FC opened training for their sixth season in the National Women's Soccer League.

Portland also released its 2018 preseason roster. Defender Emily Sonnett, midfielder Lindsey Horan and forward Christine Sinclair will arrive in Portland after international duty. Sonnett concluded her season in the Australian W-League with Sydney FC and will head to training camp with the USWNT ahead of the SheBelieves Cup, along with Horan, while Sinclair joins the Canada Women's National Team for the Algarve Cup in Portugal.

Forward Hayley Raso and defender Ellie Carpenter will arrive after the conclusion of the AFC Women's Asian Cup from April 7-22.
