THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTSÂ…

The SYRACUSE CRUNCH (Columbus) are 2nd in the North Division with a 31-19-10-5 record and 77 pointsÂ… The Crunch are 17-7-6-3 at home this season and are currently on a five-game unbeaten streak (4-0-1-0)Â… The Crunch are ranked 5th overall in the AHL while on the powerplay at a 17.1% success rate and are 16th overall while killing penalties at 85.4%Â… Left-winger Mike Pandolfo has the hot hand for the Crunch tallying 10 points (6G,4A) and is a plus eight (+8) in his last 10 gamesÂ… Goaltender Pascal Leclaire is 3-0-0 in the teamÂ’s last five games posting a 1.62 GAA and stopping 120 of 125 shots facedÂ… Defenceman Darrel Scolville leads Syracuse with five points including four assists in four games against St. JohnÂ’s this seasonÂ… Syracuse will visit Mile One Stadium April 6th and 7th.

The HAMILTON BULLDOGS (Montreal) continue to lead the Northern Division and are 4th overall in the AHL with a 35-22-10-4 record and 86 pointsÂ… The Bulldogs defeated the Maple Leafs 5- 1 on March 20 and are 5-4-1-0 in their last 10 gamesÂ… HamiltonÂ’s Tomas Plekanec leads the Bulldogs with 53 points (17G,36A) in 66 gamesÂ… Goaltender Eric Fichaud has a 16-11-3 record with one shutout, a 2.29 GAA and a .917 save percentage in 31 gamesÂ… Defencman Ron Hainsey has 10 points, all assists, in his last 10 gamesÂ… Rookie center Chris Higgins has 10 points (7G,A) and is a plus four (+4) in his last 10 gamesÂ… Right-winger Alexander Perezhogin has 10 points (5G,5A) in his last 10 games... This will be the last meeting of the regular season between these two rivals.

- The St. John's Maple Leafs are currently on a seven-game, fourteen day road trip.

- St. John's will return to Mile One Stadium April 6th for a two game set against the Syracuse Crunch.

- The Leafs will close out the regular season with two key divisional games against Toronto April 9 & 10.

- The Baby Buds are ranked 12th in the AHL with the man advantage at a 15.5% success rate.

Brendan Bell: Bell has 22 points (5G,17A) in 64 games.

Carlo Colaiacovo: Carlo leads all Maple Leafs defenceman in points (25) and assist (21) in 51 games during his rookie season.
