The Red Sea Will Rise in Orlando Saturday Night

Jacksonville Sharks News Release

JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced Friday that they are encouraging their numerous fans attending tomorrow night's playoff game in Orlando to wear red.

On the eve of the round one playoff game against in-state rival the Orlando Predators, Operating Manager Jeff Bouchy encourages those traveling to the game to bring our Red Sea to the Amway Center. The Sharks are bringing a fan bus to tomorrow's game and expect a large amount of Sharks fans to also make the trip down for the Saturday night's showdown.

"We're looking to bring Jacksonville's home field advantage down to Orlando," Operating Manager Bouchy said. "We want our Red Sea to swell up and take over the Amway center. We won there last year and we expect to do the same this year. Our fans are a big part of this team and we need the Red Sea more than ever tomorrow night."

This will be the fourth matchup between the Sharks and the Predators this season. Jacksonville is currently 1-2 in this season's series. The Sharks lost both games at home, but were able to come out on top when the two teams faced off in Orlando and they hope to repeat their road triumph from last May.

Saturday's matchup will take place in the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida at 7pm to a nationally televised audience on the CBS Sports Network. The winner will advance to the American Conference Championship game to face Philadelphia or Tampa Bay for a spot in Arena Bowl XXIX. The winner of the Orlando and Jacksonville game will travel to Philadelphia or host Tampa Bay in next week's American Conference Championship game.
