HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Havoc wrap up the regular season in Fayetteville this weekend with a chance to finish in second place.

Weekend Recap Last weekend the Havoc brought the home half of the regular season to a conclusion with contests against Evansville and Macon.

Friday, Huntsville scored five goals in a period for the first time this season with four registered over a seven-minute span. The game took a wild turn when Evansville came back with three of their own, but the Havoc remained poised while never trailing in the contest.

By the end of the game, Darren McCormick and Christian Powers both registered multi-goal games with Scott Fellnermayr and Jordan Wood collecting a goal and an assist each. In the 7-4 victory, which knocked the Thunderbolts out of playoff contention, the Havoc scored multiple powerplay goals for the fourth time in their last five games. Saturday's contest saw another equally tense game between the Havoc and the Macon Mayhem.

Huntsville scored the game's first goal for the third straight contest with Macon coming back to tie things up in the opening frame. The Havoc regained their one-goal lead in the second period, but saw the Mayhem come right back less than two minutes later. With both teams scoring a goal in the final frame of regulation, the game headed to overtime and ultimately a shootout. During the skills competition, Macon scored on two of their three opportunities to capture the 4-3 victory.
