The Hanover Insurance Group Named Presenting Sponsor of Worcester Sharks Reading is Cool Program

WORCESTER, Mass. - Worcester Sharks President Michael A. Mudd announced today that The Hanover Insurance Group has become the presenting sponsor of the Worcester Sharks Reading is Cool program.
Reading is Cool presented by The Hanover Insurance Group is a program that encourages students throughout central Massachusetts to read for at least a half hour each day, and commit to reading on a regular basis. Through the program, Worcester Sharks players and FINZ, the Sharks lovable mascot, visit classrooms in local schools, where they read to students, and help promote the importance of learning and reading as paths to lifelong achievement.
To this date, over 20,000 students throughout central Massachusetts have participated in the Reading is Cool program and the Sharks have made over 200 visits to local schools and organizations to read to students and talk about the importance of reading.
