The Glens Falls Dragons (19-27) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-5 landslide win over the Saugerties Stallions (14-33) at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field.
The Glens Falls Dragons scored six runs in the third on the Glens Falls Dragons scored in the third on a two-run triple by Chris Kwitzer (University of Buffalo), an RBI single by Nate Cardy (Gannon University), and a hit by pitch.
Kwitzer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Glens Falls Dragons.
Michael Pfenniger (Manhattan College) was hot from the plate for the Saugerties Stallions. Pfenniger went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Joe Jones (Maryville College) got the win, running his season record to 3-5. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Jones struck out none, walked two and gave up two hits.
Andrew Workman (Quinnipiac) couldn't get it done on the hill for the Saugerties Stallions, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
The Glens Falls Dragons hammered the Saugerties Stallions pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 10 RBIs and eight runs scored.
