The Dunedin Blue Jays to Host Mascot Night
Dunedin, Fl. - The Dunedin Blue Jays are set to host Mascot Night in honor of DJay the Blue Jay's birthday on Saturday, April 26th! DJay, Jets Pizza's Jet Man', the Chick-Fil-A Cow, and many others will be entertaining and signing autographs during the game as the Dunedin Blue Jays take on the Sarasota Reds. The game begins at 7pm, but the festivities begin when the Knology Park gates open at 6pm. It's also Jr. Jays Saturday so the kids will have plenty of things to keep them entertained throughout the game! Plus, the Blue Jays plan to host a post-game fireworks show!
Prior to the game, the Dunedin Blue Jays are hosting a FREE Aquafina Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition for area youth. Pitch, Hit & Run is designed to provide an opportunity for youngsters to compete in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball skills, FREE of charge. Registration begins at 3:30pm at Knology Park and participants must provide a copy of their birth certificate.
