Texas Stars Trim Training Camp Roster

Texas Stars News Release
CEDAR PARK, TX - The Texas Stars announced today that they have released defenseman Jordan Hill and forward Scott Howes from their training camp roster and have reassigned goaltender Josh Robinson to the Idaho Steelheads, their ECHL affiliate.
The moves leave 34 players on the Stars training camp roster as they head into their final preseason game Saturday, as they travel to San Antonio for a 4:00 pm game at the Ice & Golf Center at Northwoods with the Rampage.
The Stars open the 2012-13 AHL season on Saturday, October 13th at San Antonio and their home opener comes on Sunday, October 14th as they host the Charlotte Checkers for a 7:00 pm faceoff at Cedar Park Center. 2012-13 season seat packages are on sale now.
