Ten Former Giants on NHL Opening Night

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce that 10 former G-Men have been named to National Hockey League opening night rosters ahead of the start of the season tonight.

Jordan Martinook and Kevin Connaution (injured) are with the Arizona Coyotes; Cody Franson and Evander Kane will play for the Buffalo Sabres. Lance Bouma and Brett Kulak are on the Calgary Flames' roster; Mason Geertsen (injured) will play for the Colorado Avalanche. Milan Lucic will suit up for the Edmonton Oilers while Brendan Gallagher will once again play for the Montreal Canadiens. Chase Lang (injured) is listed on the Minnesota Wild roster.

The 10 former Giants played a combined 1,617 games in a Vancouver uniform. The Giants play next on Friday when they visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes. The face-off goes at 6:00pm from the Enmax Centre.
