Teddy Bear Toss On Saturday

It is a holiday tradition in arenas across the CHL, and this Saturday night it comes to Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum. The Vancouver Giants annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented by Global Television, will take place Saturday at 7:00 pm when the Giants play host to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Fans are asked to bring new Teddy Bears to the game, or purchase them at the Coliseum and when the Giants score their first goal of the night, that is your cue to toss it to the ice. The Teddy Bears will then be collected by Giants players and handed over to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau for distribution.
Part proceeds from the night will also benefit the CKNW Orphans Fund, and all proceeds from sales of Teddy Bears at the Coliseum will go to The Province Empty Stocking Fund.
