Calgary, AB - Matt Dorsey recorded a team-leading three points, with a goal and two assists, to lead Team Black to a 6-3 victory over Team White in the annual Calgary Hitmen Intra-Squad game played at Max Bell Centre on Wednesday night.
Jordy Stallard and Brayden Brown both tallied a pair of goals for the victors with Bryce Platt rounding out the scoring. Noah Geekie also chipped in with two assists.
Bryce Bader, a 2016 second-round bantam pick, scored twice for Team White with Carsen Twarynski adding a single.
The Hitmen open their six-game exhibition schedule on Friday, September 2 at the Red Deer Tournament against the Prince George Cougars. The schedule also includes one pre-season game at the Scotiabank Saddledome when the Hitmen host the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday, September 10 in a 7:00 p.m. start. Tickets are $7 and now on sale at Ticketmaster locations and the Scotiabank Saddledome box office.
The 72-game 2016-17 regular season schedule begins with the Adrenalin Source For Sports Home Opener on Friday, September 23 against the Kootenay ICE at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
Calgary Hitmen season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign are available now at the Scotiabank Saddledome box office or by calling 403-777-4646. Packages include complimentary tickets to the first two Hitmen home playoff games along with game day savings vouchers for concessions, tickets and merchandise. They also feature a flexible exchange program where all unused Hitmen regular season tickets can be exchanged for another game during the same season.
