BOISE, Idaho, November 1, 2011 - Seth Tarver (6-5, 215, Oregon State) has re-signed with the NBA Development League and will report to training camp with the Idaho Stampede, which begins November 14, the organization announced today.
Tarver was acquired by the Stampede last year through an NBA allocation - he was a training camp invite to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Oregon State alum played 49 games with the Stampede (33 starts), averaging 9.9 points per game on 47.8 percent shooting, while pulling down 4.5 rebounds in 27.0 minutes per game.
Tarver scored a season-high 26 points on November 27 at home against the Texas Legends. The 2009-10 Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year award winner twice grabbed 10 rebounds, the last coming on December 19 at Maine.
The Portland, Ore. native has strong high-level athletics ties, with three brothers who played either Division I college football or basketball, and his father played in the NFL.
