Rowdies Online Broadcast Enhanced for 2013 Season

This year's broadcast team will feature a new voice, as Jim Henderson will be the play-by-play announcer. Along his side will be color analyst Winston Dubose, who returns for hissecond season on the broadcast.

Henderson is no stranger to the Rowdies organization, having covered the team for the Tampa Tribune in the late 70's and 80's. He has been with the organization since the return to professional soccer in 2010 as the Public Address Announcer. DuBose has a rich history with the Rowdies both on and off the field, as he was a goalkeeper for the club from 1977 to 1982. Recently he has been the color analysis for the broadcast since the start of the 2012 season.

"I am honored to be called the voice of the Rowdies," commented Henderson. "My association with the franchise goes back to the beginning as a reporter for the Tampa Tribune. I have had many great Rowdies memories down through the years, including last year's championship, and I look forward to many more."

The broadcast will now feature a three camera shoot, providing more angles of the game action. The cameras have also been upgraded from 2012 to 2013, now shooting 16x9 instead of the 4x3 format that was featured last year. This will allow viewers to see more of the action on pitch and enjoy a better image quality. The Rowdies broadcast will now boast in-game replays this year, enhancing the quality of the broadcast on Ustream.
