Wheeling, WV - Nailers forward T.J. Fox will join host Bob Rotruck and head coach Greg Puhalski for tonight's edition of the Nailers Power Hour Presented by Pepsi live from Generations Pub and Restaurant in Wheeling. The show airs Thursdays from 6-7pm on The Mix 97.3 and the Nailers Hockey Network presented by Amica Insurance.
Coach Puhalski will recap the team's successful road trip down south to the Carolinas including their thrilling back to back wins at first place South Carolina on Sunday and Tuesday. The Chief will also talk about the crowded American Conference and North Division standings and preview this weekend's home games against South Carolina.
T.J. Fox is 2nd on the team in goals with 15 after his most recent two goal game on Friday at Charlotte. The Union College product played in the San Jose Sharks organization with their AHL team in Worcester, Mass. the past couple of seasons. He has come to Wheeling and been a significant force especially in the past month scoring 9 of his 15 goals since December 26th including three multi-goal games.
It's an hour of fun and Nailers talk on the Nailers Hockey Network presented by Amica Insurance with the Nailers Power Hour Presented by Pepsi live from Generations in Wheeling Thursday night at 6!
This Saturday the Nailers take on the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:35 and then tangle with them again on Sunday at 3:05. The Saturday night game is Wheeling Hockey Hall of Fame Night honoring Doug Sauter and Nick Bedway. The first 2500 fans receive Doug Sauter Bobbleheads courtesy of WesBanco. Sunday is an open-skate after the game with the Nailers players so remember to bring your skates and gloves.
Nailers Education Field Trip Day is coming Tuesday, February 9th with a special early 11:05am game against the Johnstown Chiefs. Free admission for students and teachers but you have to register your school in advance. Educational handbooks for all the schools and $4 lunch-bags will be made available as well.
