Syracuse Crunch to Hold Promotional Team and Mascot Auditions September 19 and 20

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch are holding auditions for the Blink Fitness Crunch Crew promotional team and mascot on Wednesday, Sept. 19 and 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse. Blink Fitness is the official fitness center of the Syracuse Crunch.

The Blink Fitness Crunch Crew serves as the club's promotional team. The Crunch are looking for outgoing men and women with energetic personalities who have a passion for Crunch hockey. Participants should have strong communications skills and the ability to interact with fans in front of a large audience. The Blink Fitness Crunch Crew will be an integral part of the Crunch's on-ice entertainment and fan experience along with serving as Crunch representatives at multiple community events. Team members will greet fans at the War Memorial Arena, participate in in-game promotions and help maintain the energy at all Crunch home games.

Members of the Blink Fitness Crunch Crew are expected to be available for all 38 home games and post-season contests. This is a paid position.

Participants auditioning for the Crunch mascot should be prepared to represent the Crunch at community events or Crunch home games that the primary mascot cannot attend. The mascot will work with a wide range of fans at these events and gain the experience of working for a professional sports team. Participants will be asked to showcase their outgoing personality during the audition. This is also a paid position.

Candidates must attend one of the two auditions and are asked to pre-register for the auditions. Walk-ins are welcome. Participants must be 18 or older. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Crowne Plaza Syracuse is located at 701 E Genesee St.
