Syracuse Chiefs to Hold 2nd Annual Ballpark Brewfest, Presented by Blue Rock Energy

The Syracuse Chiefs will hold their 2nd annual Ballpark Brewfest, presented by Blue Rock Energy, on Saturday, September 24th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., or 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for VIP ticket holders. Brewfest will be held at NBT Bank Stadium. Guests will have the opportunity to sample more than 70 different beers from across the nation, including many from Central New York and New York State.

Tickets for the 2016 Ballpark Brewfest are $35 if purchased in advance or $45 on the day of the Brewfest. Designated Drivers get in free but will not be permitted to drink any alcoholic beverages. Parking is free for this event.

Twin Trees Too VIP Room tickets are available for purchase for $75 if purchased in advance, or $100 if purchased at the door. VIP tickets include entry to the event one hour early (12 p.m.), access to a private food and beer pairing with exclusive "inner circle" beers only served in the Twin Trees Too VIP Room, interaction with brewmasters in this intimate environment, a commemorative Ballpark Brewfest t-shirt, and a voucher for batting practice on the field.

All guests will also be offered the unique opportunity to take batting practice on the field, courtesy of Birnie Bus Services, Inc. Batting practice will cost $20 per person.

New this year to Brewfest, courtesy of Rocky's Cigars, is the Spirit & Cigar Party Deck. The Spirit & Cigar Party Deck will feature high-end spirits, cigar samplings and local, smaller independent breweries.

Patrons will be provided a 6 oz. tasting glass. Stadium concession stands will be open during Brewfest for guests to purchase food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Group tickets are also available for purchase for groups of 10 or more. Groups can purchase tickets at reduced price of $30 per ticket by contacting Arnold Malloy at amalloy@syracusechiefs.com or by calling 315-474-7833. Group tickets must be purchased in advance.

Tickets are on sale now at www.ballparkbrewfestcny.com or at the following locations: NBT Bank Stadium, Nichols Supermarket, Rocky's Cigars, Now and Later and Finger Lakes on Tap in Skaneateles.

All guests must be 21 years or older to attend Brewfest, with a valid government ID. No infants, toddlers or children will be admitted into the stadium for Brewfest.
