Swanner purchases Illusion

Professional Indoor Soccer is returning to St. Louis thanks to former indoor legend Jamie Swanner, who recently purchased the St. Louis Illusion, a new professional indoor franchise that will play 10 home games at Swanner's facility, The Game Arena, in Glen Carbon, Illinois.
Competing in the PASL, which is a combination of teams from the MISL, AISA, and PASL, Swanner's Illusion will be playing against teams such as the Stockton Cougars, Texas Outlaws, and San Diego Sockers, to name a few.
Fans can expect to see some new and old when it comes to the St. Louis soccer scene, with players such as Darryl Doran, Joe Reiniger, Justin McMillan, Mali Walton, Kevin Kalish, Jeff Dimaria and Swanner himself taking the field. Swanner and McMillan will both serve as player/coaches.
Their home opener is schedule for 7:15pm, Saturday November 15th at the Game, which is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.
To promote their first game, the St. Louis Illusion will be holding a 'Meeting the Players Night', Saturday November 8th at 7:30pm at The Game. Players will scrimmage, sign autographs and answer any questions the fans and press may have.
