Suzuki Named Huron Tractor Player of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Nick Suzuki the Huron Tractor Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 6th.
Suzuki, 17 started his week off on a big note against the Barrie Colts last Wednesday. The sophomore forward tallied 2 shorthanded goals and 3 assists for 5 points in an 8-4 win over the Colts at the Bayshore. After being held off the scoresheet on Friday on Oshawa, Suzuki and his teammates responded on Saturday evening against the Sarnia Sting.
The 2017 NHL Draft prospect assisted on the Attack's 3rd and 4th goals of the evening, including the game tying goal with just over one minute left and then was credited with the overtime winner just 30 seconds into the extra frame to give the Attack a 5-4 win. The London native finished the week with 3 goals and 5 assists.
Suzuki's hot week put him into 16th spot among OHL scorers with 9 goals and 13 assists in 18 games played.
The Attack is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Erie to square off against the Otters. Game time at the Erie Insurance Arena is 7:00pm.
