It's a bird! It's a Plane! It's Superhero Night with the River City Rascals! The Rascals will be hosting Superhero Night on Saturday, May 28th at CarShield Field as the Normal Cornbelters soar into town for a heroic battle slated for 6:35 PM. Bring the entire family and channel your inner superhero! Everyone is encouraged to join forces and come dressed up as their favorite characters for a chance to win prizes. At the conclusion of the game, families will be invited to lay a blanket on the outfield and watch The Incredibles (free of charge).

This is a perfect night for the family that loves baseball and superheroes, as the ballpark will be transformed into a fictional setting. A few of the activities include a costume contest and the opportunity to meet and take photos with 10 of some of the most recognizable comic book and superheroe characters. Characters will be roaming the stadium throughout the night; photos with the characters are free of charge for those with a Rascals game ticket.

"Superhero Night is the first of many character nights at the ballpark this season," said Rascals Assistant General Manger Lisa Ferreira. "In 2015 the Rascals Superhero/Princess Night broke attendance records, so we are thrilled to bring this promotion back and make it bigger and better than ever before!"
