January 12, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Arizona Sundogs News Release

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today that the final part of a previous trade with the Missouri Mavericks has been completed and forward Nathan O'Nabigon now joins the team's roster.

O'Nabigon's arrival completes the January 1st trade between the two teams when Arizona sent goaltender Levente Szuper to the Mavericks in exchange for defenseman Steven Kaunisto and future considerations.

The 28-year-old O'Nabigon (oh-NAB-ih-gun) is currently in his fourth professional season - all in the Central Hockey League. In 184 CHL games the Longlac, Ontario native has scored 86 points on 37 goals and 49 assists. Arizona will be O'Nabigon's fourth stop in the CHL along with Missouri, the Allen Americans, and the Rocky Mountain Rage.

While playing for Rocky Mountain in 2008-09, he skated alongside current Sundogs players Daymen Rycroft, Tyler Butler, and Scott Reid.

This season O'Nabigon appeared in 18 games for the Mavericks registering two goals and six assists.

The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Their sixth season is brought to you by Cliff Castle Casino-Hotel and the team will also host the 2012 CHL All-Star Game in January. Season tickets, mini-plan, and single-game ticket information is now available by calling (928) 759-6600 or visiting arizonasundogs.com.
