Sunday's Game Postponed

(Allentown, Pa.) - Sunday's 1:35 p.m. game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Park has been postponed due to rain. As a result of a rainout, the two teams will play a day-night doubleheader on Saturday, June 18. A separate ticket will be required for entry to each of the two nine-inning games, which are scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 6:35 p.m., respectively.
Fans that are holding tickets to today's game (Sunday, May 1) will receive information in regards to the process of exchanging their tickets to Game One of the day-night doubleheader on Saturday, June 18 at 12:05 p.m. within the next 24-48 hours. Fans with additional questions are asked to call (610) 841-PIGS (7447). Please note that if you were scheduled to attend the Sunday, May 1 game as part of a group please contact your group leader in regards to a make-up date.
Today's giveaway - a Youth Replica Jersey giveaway presented by Capital BlueCross for the first 1,500 youth 17 and under - has also been moved to Game One of the Saturday, June 18 day-night doubleheader at 12:05 p.m.
Tickets for the newly-announced Game One at 12:05 p.m. on June 18 go on sale next week and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447) or online at ironpigsbaseball.com/tickets. Prices for single-game start as low as $9 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area, the bars at the Bud Light Trough and the Red Robin Tiki Terrace & Oasis along with other standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $12. Fans that purchase in advance of the day of game have the added benefit of saving $2 per ticket on single-game ticket prices in 2016.
Field Level tickets also remain for the 6:35 p.m. game on June 18 that features a post-game fireworks display courtesy of the Pennsylvania Lottery and are on sale now.
Please note that all gates will open at 11 a.m. for Game One. For Game Two, the Main Gates open at the regularly scheduled time of 5:15 p.m. Club Level patrons may enter the Club Level gates beginning at 5 p.m. Since a day-night doubleheader constitutes two separate games, all fans must exit Coca-Cola Park at the conclusion of the first game of the doubleheader.
This will be just the fourth day-night doubleheader in Coca-Cola Park's. A one-day record of 17,006 fans attended the ballpark's first-ever split-admission doubleheader on July 3, 2009.
The IronPigs homestand continues on Monday, May 2 with the opener of a three-game series against the Pawtucket Red Sox at 7:05 p.m. Get your photos taken with your favorite IronPigs players during On-Field Photo Day presented by Dan's Camera City from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Also, it's another Berks Dollar Dog Monday featuring $1 hot dogs all game long. There's also a Morning Call Pre-game autograph session from 6 to 6:20 p.m. with a Zach Eflin and Cam Perkins autograph card (although the actual players taking part in the autograph session are subject to change).
Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.
The cost of parking in Coca-Cola Park's "Pig Tail Porking Spaces" is $5 per vehicle for all IronPigs home games.
