Storm Select Cooper Walker 91st Overall

In the fifth round, the Guelph Storm welcomed Cooper Walker as the 91st overall pick in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection.

Walker, a five-foot-eight, 140-pounds centre, posted 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) through 30 games for the Cambridge Hawks Minor Midget AAA squad in the 2017-18 Season. In the postseason, the Cambridge, Ontario native had a point-per-game, registering two goals and six assists through eight games.

Appearing in four games in the 2018 OHL Cup Showcase, Walker had a goal and an assist.

Walker is the son of former NHL player Scott Walker, who played 859 games through 15 seasons.
