Storm Ready For A Battle Of The Falls

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (8-1) will play against the Wichita Falls Nighthawks (5-3) in Texas against a tough home crowd on Friday, May 6th, where kickoff is set for 7:05 PM.

The Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Green Bay Blizzard in a thrilling 66-59 battle last weekend. In that game, Brandon Johnson-Farrell finished the game with 65 rushing yards and one touchdown, as well as 31 receiving yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Lorenzo Brown ended with 155 yards, four touchdowns, one interception, and rushed for 21 yards. Korey Williams rushed for 25 yards and scored three touchdowns. Mike Tatum rushed for four yards and scored one touchdown, and also had 44 receiving yards, and scored two touchdowns. The Storm defense tallied 40 tackles, four sacks, one interception, three pass break-ups and two blocks.

For the Nighthawks, the team is looking to stay unbeaten at home as they defeated the Cedar Rapids Titans, 61-57. In that game, Jerell Norton went 16-of-27 with three touchdowns and an interception to go along with 191 yards. Tyler Williams finished with 18 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Jolly had 122 receiving yards, one fumble and two touchdowns.
