Storm Chasers 2016 Weekly Promotion Calendar Unveiled

OMAHA - As the Fifth Anniversary Season at Werner Park continues to draw closer, the Omaha Storm Chasers are excited to announce the weekly promotions schedule for the upcoming 2016 campaign. Fan favorite promotions including Wiener Wednesdays, Hy-Vee Fireworks Fridays and Thirsty Thursdays will return to Werner Park, along with the inception of Tallboy Tuesdays, expanded Bark in the Park and Five Dollar Days.
"The fan experience at Werner Park and affordability remain two of our top priorities as an organization, and our weekly promotions reflect that," said Storm Chasers Team President and General Manager Martie Cordaro. "Whether it is wieners, fireworks or beverages, every night is sure to be a great time at Werner Park during our Fifth Anniversary Season."
The popular fan favorite Wiener Wednesdays make their return to Werner Park for five Wednesday night home dates (April 13, May 25, July 20, August 10 & 31), with full-size Hebrew National hot dogs available for only 25 cents each. Every dog will also have his day as part of Wiener Wednesdays; canines are welcome to join their owners for a game at Werner Park with Bark in the Park. Eight Five Dollar Days are also planned during the 2016 campaign for weekday home dates at Werner Park. For just $5, fans will be able to purchase nachos and a Pepsi beverage on these days for the perfect lunch break.
Opening Night is one of ten Thirsty Thursday dates (April 7, 14 & 28, May 12 & 26, June 23 & 30, July 14 & 21, and September 1) during the 2016 season, with drink specials available throughout the evening. Budweiser and Bud Light beers will be available for the low price of just $2, along with $1 dollar Pepsi fountain drinks. 2016 also sees the introduction of six Tallboy Tuesday dates (April 26, May 10 & 24, June 21, and August 9 & 30), with 25 ounce "Tallboy" Budweiser and Bud Light cans available for the low price of $5, in addition to 24 ounce draft beers for $5 as well.
Weekends will once again start with a bang with the return of Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks, with nine post-game Friday fireworks spectaculars scheduled throughout the season, in addition to seven more fireworks nights throughout the year for a total of 16. In addition to the fireworks, a live DJ from Power 106.9 will be at the Budweiser Downdraught every Friday night.
Saturdays are sure to be a spectacle with 11 Saturday Spectacular dates at Werner Park, featuring the best premium giveaways, including bobbleheads, celebrity appearances and entertainment extravaganzas. U.S. Bank Family FUNday also makes a return, which includes animals from the Wildlife Encounters, clowns, balloon artists and face painting for Sunday home dates. Hardee's Kids Run The Bases and Hy-Vee Canned Food Sundays also return on select Sundays, with fans receiving a FREE McDonald's Berm Ticket by bringing two Hy-Vee labeled canned food items to the ballpark to benefit Heartland Hope Mission.
