Tampa Bay Storm News Release

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Storm is pleased to announce the members of the 2016 Cheerleader Squad.

"This is the 25th season in Tampa Bay for the Storm and it's a time for celebration," said Director of Cheerleaders Kindra Strocher-Ebanks. "We had an excellent, and enthusiastic, group of ladies tryout for the team. Narrowing it down to the final 14 was a tough decision, but we are confident in the group that was selected. We are looking forward to getting to work and giving the fans, and the Tampa Bay community, something they can be proud of."

The Storm Cheerleaders perform at all home games, dedicating two evenings per week to practice. While cheerleading may be their primary role, they also serve as ambassadors in the community. The squad visits hospitals, food banks, community centers and also the armed forces. The team also participates in many other programs and charities that help benefit the Tampa Bay Community.

The 14-member squad is comprised of seven veterans and seven rookies.
