Storm announce draft party venue

Birch Run, MI (September 16, 2004) – The Great Lakes Storm announced today that they will host their 2004 CBA Draft party at the Frankenmuth Brewery (425 S. Main St. in Frankenmuth, MI) on Tuesday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. The actual CBA draft will begin at 8:00 p.m. The Storm and Head Coach Russ Bergman will have the third pick in the first round. All media, sponsors, season ticket holders, and general public are invited to attend with a chance to socialize with Coach Bergman and other front office personnel, along with the 2004-2005 Great Lakes Storm Dance Team.

Any player who was eligible to be selected in the 2004 NBA Draft on June 24th, is eligible to be picked in the 2004 CBA Draft. The draft will consist of six rounds with the order of picks determined by the final quarter point average earned during the 2003-2004 season. The Storm will only have four picks due to prior trades.
